I've got a fun post today! Lipstick swatches, woo! Who doesn't love lip swatches? It is SO much easier, and much more helpful to see a lipstick swatched on someones lips than their hands. Am I right? I'm right, lol I own ALOT of the Wet n Wild Megalast Lipsticks. They claim to be 4 hour, long wearing, semi-matte lipsticks, with a creme finish. I do agree with those claims. They are not SUPER drying like so many other matte lipsticks. I typically stay away from mattes, and these are the only ones I will wear. They go on very smoothly, and don't emphasize the lines on your lips. Obviously, the longer you wear them, the more drying they get, as with any matte lipstick. I typically wear these when I'm going out, not for the whole day or night. I wouldn't wear these if I was going out to dinner, or out to the club, simply because I don't want to have to worry about my lipstick looking dry, or fading unevenly on me. For the price, $2.54 at Walmart, these are SO worth it. Now, on to the colours! :) 1. Just Peachy (903C)
A VERY pretty nude lipstick. It is more peach toned, hence the name, but very wearable. It's not my favourite nude, just because I prefer pinks, but I think it really suits pale skin tones.
2. Think Pink (901B)
This is my FAVORITE nude lipstick, apart from MACS angel :) Which is actually VERY similar to this, a very good dupe if you can't afford MAC. Its a gorgeous neutral baby pink, would look great on many different skin tones. Super creamy, and almost looks slightly glossy. It's very comfortable on the lips. But once it starts to wear away, BEWARE, it will make your lips look dry and emphasize the creases a bit. Just check it every now and then and apply when needed!
3. Pinkerbell (968)
Another pretty pink colour. A little brighter, great for summer or spring. This is a great dupe for MACs Viva Glam Nicki lipstick, if you didn't get your hands on that one when it came out ;)
4. Don't Blink Pink (966)
A deeper shade of pink, but still very bright! Another great summer colour. Not much to say about this one, its not super unique, but its still pretty. Very opaque, and creamy, just like all of the others. Doesn't fade as much as some of the other ones, leaves a nice staining effect.
5. Smokin' Hot Pink (905D)
I feel like the name is a little bit misleading. This doesn't look as much of a hot pink to me as it does a rosy mauve shade. It is much deeper, and I feel like it ages me a little bit. Not a colour I gravitate towards very often. Very opaque, and creamy. I feel like this would be a great shade for fall and winter. I was just expecting it to be a bit brighter than it showed up on my lips.
6. Dollhouse Pink (967)
This shade is CRAZY. Thats the only way I can explain it lol. It is a VERY hard colour to pull off, and I'm not even sure if I can pull it off haha. I have gotten the courage to wear this one in public yet. :/ It's a pink ,but a VERY blue-toned pink, almost borderline lavender. I feel like girls with darker complexions would be able to pull off this colour very easily, but us more pale girls might have a harder time. It also makes your teeth look yellow. So if you have yellow teeth to begin with, I wouldn't recommend this one lol it's super unflattering in that way
7. Mauve Outta Here (907C)
This colour is more of a mauve colour, DUH lol Its a deep berry shade, very nice, but not my type of colour. I feel like this one ages me a bit too. This is the type of colour my mom goes for. I would wear this a bit in the winter, but not much apart from that. Great for all you girls who love a good berry shade, its very pigmented! But its not much different from my natural lip colour in person, it's almost one of those 'my lips but better' shades.
8. 24 Carrot Gold (969)
I don't think I'll ever be able to pull of orange lipstick. Lol. Its straight up orange. Not sure if it suits my skin tone, but some girls can pull off oranges REALLY well. So if you're looking for a straight up orange lipstick, without a pink or red hue, this is the lipstick for you! Just not my cup of tea :P
9. Stoplight Red (911D)
This is officially my favourite red lipstick that I own. It is the PERFECt blue-toned lipstick. It has no orange or pink in it, it is gorgeous! And it makes your teeth look super white! :) And who doesn't love that?! For the price, this is the perfect lipstick. I feel like every girl needs a lipstick like this in their collection. Whether you have light or dark skin, this one will look absolutely stunning on you!
10. Cherry Picking (965)
I love this lipstick. It is the newest edition to my wet n wild collection, and its gorgeous! It's the perfect pinkish red colour. Kind of a raspberry shade. Its stunning. I can't even say anything else about it, its one of my favourites. It made it into my top 10 favourite fall lipsticks which you can check out on my youtube channel :)

So I just finished watching the latest episode of Teen Mom 2, and holy cow, I can't believe this girls makeup! What a disaster!!!
LOL, I can't stop laughing :P I know it's mean, but come on! How could you go out in public looking like that?! And how did her friends not say anything to her??
It looks like she either went overboard on concealer under her eyes, and too heavy on the contouring, or she placed loose powder under her eyes to catch any fallout from her eyeshadow, and just forgot to brush it away. Either way, I can't believe her friends let her in public looking like that! Haha, poor girl :(
Anyways, I just had to post this on my blog, it was hilarious, and also a great example of what NOT to do! If you leave your house looking like this, you've obviously done something wrong! Unless you're into this look, rock on ;)
It's finally spring, and I'm so excited! It's been a longggg winter, and I'm happy it's almost over! And if you live in Canada, I'm sure you know exactly how I feel :P haha!

So I had a BLAST today coming up with this fun, bright, BOLD Valentine's day makeup and hair!
It's perfect if you're a dare-devil like me, and don't mind wearing bright colours in public, or if you're going to a fun Valentine's Day party or something!
So I recently purchased the new Covergirl Clump Crusher mascara! I was so excited when I finally saw it for sale here in Canada!
I bought it without even checking the price first... lol and was shocked to find out it was 10 DOLLARS! That's crazy expensive for a drugstore mascara in my opinion!
Overall, I really like this mascara for everyday! It doesn't give you that much volume or length, but separates your lashes really nicely and coats them evenly. It also is a slightly wet mascara, so it doesn't dry super fast, allowing you to do a few coats before it dries and starts to flake! Here are some photos of what the mascara looks like :
